Each year CCA dedicates monies in order to fund Membership Development Grants for local chapters. Up to $2000.00 is available per event. The Membership Development Committee meets four or five times each year to discuss membership recruitment, development, and retention; to solicit, fund, and review Membership Development grant applications; and to advise CCA on all relevant matters.
Do you have an idea for membership development at your local chapter? Download the Membership Development Grant Application, fill it out, and submit to the CCA VP & Membership Development Committee Chair Randa Wahbe @ email@example.com. Make sure to CC your CTA PCS on your grant request submission.
Local chapters receiving the award will be reimbursed after the event has taken place and the respective reimbursement documents have been submitted.

(2) for College of the Sequoias:
Aug 2019 New Faculty Orientation Luncheon ($650.57) – FA contributed decorations and marketing
Fall 2019 Convocation Breakfast ($632) – Admin contributed half the costs of the breakfast buffet for all faculty/staff, FA contributed marketing and decorations.
(2) for Southwestern:
Aug 2019 Opening Day event ($1091.99)
Jan 2020 Opening Day event ($1091.99)
Grant to cover SCEA logo union made tote bags, logo pens, water, snacks. FA to contribute staffing and organizing.
(1) for College of the Desert:
Over a two-year period, unit members were videotaped at various union events and answered the question “What does College of the Desert Faculty Association mean to you?”
