As a CCA Member…

…you are part of the largest, most influential national association of educators advocating to better the working conditions of its members, to support students and to improve the quality of public education.  Over 300,000 California educators belong to CTA, and nearly 3 million belong to NEA. CTA is the largest public employee association in California, while NEA is the largest public employee association in the nation.

K-12 TEACHERS—

If you work full-time in a K-12 and work part-time at a community college, and both have CTA/NEA chapters, you will pay your full dues at the K-12, but only the CCA and local dues at the community college.

PART-TIME, CONTINGENT, ADJUNCT FACULTY—

If you teach in multiple community colleges that are all represented by CCA/CTA/NEA, choose your home college and pay full dues there; then, join at the other colleges and pay just the local dues.

To ensure you are a member at all of your work locations, contact your local Membership chair or chapter representative!
