MEMBERS’ VOICES UNITE

When Did You Last Vote in Your Chapter’s Elections?

Whether ratifying the latest contract or electing chapter leadership, the voice of part-time faculty are essential if we want to improve our working and living conditions.

If you aren’t a member of each of your chapters, CCA encourages you to join. Each chapter maintains its own membership list, so submitting an application to the chapter in each district is required.

Fortunately for part-time faculty, someone who works in multiple districts that are represented by CCA/CTA/NEA only pays the CTA and NEA dues once. Pick your home district where you will pay the full dues (generally $25 to $40/month), and provide the other chapters with a copy of your current CTA Membership Card.

Contact your local chapter’s membership chair for more information.
